I was in a lab the second semester of sophomore year. Professors answer email. The workload in the core sequence is heavy and the curve is real, so plan your first two years carefully.

Great school, the aid package is the problem

The education is worth it. The cost is not the number on the website. My package dropped after freshman year and nobody warned me that could happen, so ask about renewal terms before you commit.

Boston is the campus, for better and worse

There is no quad to sit on and no bubble to stay in. You are on Comm Ave with the T running through it. If you want a traditional campus this is the wrong school. I loved it.

Advising depends entirely on who you get

My first advisor never responded. The second one built my whole clinical plan with me. Ask upperclassmen in your college who to request, it matters more than the course catalogue.

Housing is guaranteed and that changes everything

Four years of housing in a city this expensive is the underrated benefit. The buildings vary a lot. Do the room selection process the hour it opens, not the day.

Transferred from community college, credits mostly landed

Sixty of my sixty four credits transferred. The four that did not were the math sequence, which cost me a semester. Get the course agreement in writing before your last term.

Excellent school, plan the money years ahead

Aid for international students is merit only and the proof of funds requirement is enforced strictly. Academically I have no complaints. Financially I wish someone had told me the real four year number.
